This is an Acrylic painting aprox 12" x 16" on a canvas board which I painted over Christmas.It is quite dark.I wanted to preserve the skin colour.The slight Impasto background is designed to warm the over all feel of the painting

This is a new Acrylic and is quite big ( for my paintings ) 16" x 12". I havent really got the colour right on this photo, the painting is a lot richer and the whites are white. This is inspired by a photo I took near Boston which I solarized to separate the colours. So I have deliberately painted it loosely and used only two colours Cobalt blue and Ultra marine and ..... white and black. To be honest I dont know whether it,s finished or not ?.
